The Belvedere of Gregorius of Nin

On a small plateau at the foot of the village of Grabri, a stone block in the shape of a closed book was placed, on which three scripts are carved, Glagolitic, Cyrillic and Latin. The letters are arranged in parallel so that the passer-by can easily identify the letters of the alphabet that he does not know. Gregorius of Nin held the title of Croatian bishop. He was close to the regal court. He did non use the Glagolitic script, nor was it used in his diocese. The memorial was erected in 1979.
